Scope and Contents
Structural Drawing shows the preparation and use of the chisel pointed pencil for making pencil drawings on tracing papers for blueprinting. The various steps of making a structural drawing are completed in the following order so that an efficient performance results:
1. Location of gauge lines
2. Size of members and minimum clearance determine location of members
3. Size of plates determined by number of rivets in group, edge distance, and spacing of rivets
