They reflect Rundman's involvement in the student governance of Cary Quad, as well as his achievements at Purdue.

Erwin E. Schumann family papers on meeting Amelia Earhart
Materials include a letter from George Palmer Putnam to Erwin E. Schumann dated January 24, 1935 detailing Schumann riding with Putnam and Amelia Earhart to Rapid City, South Dakota. Also included is a handwritten route of Schumann's travels hitchhiking from Chicago to Los Angeles, a map of his route created by his daughter in 2025, and a newspaper clipping on Amelia Earhart.
