Biography
Malcom C. Smith Jr. graduated from Purdue University with a master’s degree in food science in 1965. He then became the manager of the food and nutrition program at NASA Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. Smith was a major in the Air Force and was stationed at the NASA Manned Spacecraft Center. Smith worked on several missions and projects including, the Apollo, Skylab, ASTP, and the Space Shuttle missions.
