Amrine, Harold T.
Biography
Harold T. Armine was hired as a faculty for the College of Engineering, General Engineering Department in 1946. Armine primarily taught and researched, time and motion studies and industrial management. Armine was also involved in the Purdue Time and Motion Study Laboratory. In 1950 Armine became the chair of Industrial Engineering. Amine continued to lead the Industrial Engineering program as it expanded into a department in 1955 and into a school in 1961. Armine was the associate director of the division of sponsored programs for the Purdue Research Foundation. In 1974 Amrine was appointed head of the Department of Freshman Engineering.
