Biography
In 1983, the Department of Engineering Graphics was renamed the Department of Technical Graphics and moved from the School of Civil Engineering into the School of Technology. In 1999 the department changed its name to the Department of Computer Graphics Technology because the faculty thought “Technical Graphics” was an outdated term from the 1980s.
On June 6, 2025, the Board of Trustee approved the creation of the School of Applied and Creative Computing within the Polytechnic Institute. The school was formed by combining the Departments of Computer Graphics Technology and the Department of Computer Information Technology.
