Historical Information

The Purdue Exponent organization produces a student newspaper of the same name. Its first issue was printed December 15 of that year. Primarily student-run, the Exponent is a newspaper serving Purdue University, with local news, opinions, features, and investigative pieces on and around campus. The Exponent became independent of the University in 1965, and is now owned by the not-for-profit Purdue Student Publishing Foundation.
